Job Description

DevOps Engineer automating Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes operations. Embedding security, monitoring, and incident response across application delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, provision, and maintain highly available and scalable OCI cloud infrastructure using compute, networking, and storage services
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, or Ansible
  • Configure and optimize Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) clusters and Docker-containerized applications
  • Manage OCI network architecture, including VCNs, subnets, load balancers, security lists, and VPN/FastConnect integrations
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using OCI DevOps Service, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions
  • Automate code testing, security scanning, and deployment processes
  • Manage artifact repositories and container registries
  • Integrate automated security checks and vulnerability scanning into deployment pipelines
  • Manage OCI IAM, Security Zones, Cloud Guard, and OCI Vault for key and secret management
  • Establish and maintain logging, alerting, and observability platforms using OCI monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
  • Lead incident response, troubleshoot infrastructure bottlenecks, and conduct root-cause analyses
  • Partner with software engineers, QA, and security teams on technical initiatives and operational guidelines
  • Maintain technical documentation for deployment standards, operational runbooks, and automation workflows

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering role
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Proficiency in Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, or CloudFormation
  • Strong practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, specifically Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE)
  • Experience designing automated deployment pipelines using OCI DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Deep understanding of Linux/Unix administration, TCP/IP, DNS, and fundamental cloud networking concepts, including VCNs, firewalls, and load balancing
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
