Job Description
Coder managing and ensuring quality coding for outpatient surgery at Baptist Health. Utilizing ICD 10-CM and CPT coding to review and accurately document patient encounters.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate coding on outpatient surgery and observation encounters
- Utilize ICD 10-CM and CPT coding
- Maintain up-to-date coding guidelines
- Review medical records for supporting documentation
Requirements:
- High School/GED with 2 years job related experience
- RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or COC required
