Job Description

Technical leader for AI, ML and Data Science projects at Inatel Competence Center. Leading and supervising advanced model development and technical strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the project's technical strategy, developing and communicating a clear, strategic vision for the application of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science within the institution;
  • Guide the development of advanced models, supervising the team in creating statistical and machine learning models using modern, advanced techniques;
  • Design and implement architectures for innovative solutions on Network as a Service (NaaS) platforms, focusing on integrating AI and ML techniques;
  • Conduct in-depth studies and analyses of architectures, data, platforms, and AI/ML tools, providing valuable insights to support decision-making;
  • Prepare comprehensive strategic and technical documentation for proposed and adopted solutions, ensuring project understanding and traceability;
  • Lead the QA team, providing guidance and support to ensure the reliability and robustness of implemented solutions;
  • Perform proactive technical reviews, examine developed code, and ensure it complies with technology best practices while promoting continuous improvement;
  • Act as a knowledge multiplier, providing technical support and mentorship to colleagues and fostering team development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, preferably in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science;
  • Experience with programming languages Python or Go;
  • Statistical methods for data analysis;
  • Development of Machine Learning/Deep Learning algorithms;
  • Microservices architecture;
  • Modern web application development;
  • High-volume databases (relational, NoSQL, data lake, or data warehouse);
  • Knowledge of Keras, PyTorch, and TensorFlow;
  • MLOps;
  • Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure);
  • CI/CD;
  • Development best practices;
  • Agile methodologies;
  • Advanced English for reading and writing and intermediate for speaking.
