Job Description
Pricing expert at Guidewire supporting P&C insurers with advanced pricing solutions and demonstrating software functionalities. Collaborating with teams to articulate product offerings and lead customer discussions.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Product and Services teams to understand offerings
- Communicating offerings to prospective customers
- Helping prospects and customers find solutions to business imperatives
- Leading discussions with internal and prospective customer teams
- Presenting complex solution demonstrations
- Articulating the functional and technical aspects of offerings to clients
- Supporting sales team as an expert on Guidewire’s Pricing solutions throughout the sales cycle
- Partnering for application configuration for detailed product demonstrations
- Responding to questions and requests for information from prospects and analysts
- Professionally challenging prospects and customers with new approaches
Requirements:
- Pricing and modeling
- Strong verbal and sales demonstration/presentation skills
- Effective and competent writing skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or other modern programming languages
- P&C insurance pricing systems and concepts
- Integration mechanisms and patterns
- Helpful knowledge of P&C insurance operations knowledge or experience
- Experience with modern P&C insurance systems
- Experience in Pre-Sales
- Familiarity with AI, cloud computing and SaaS industry trends
- Python or R skills
- Knowledge of how to build pricing and rates for P&C insurance companies
