Job Description
Primary Mathematics Teacher delivering personalized one-on-one and small-group maths tutoring online. Supporting ANZ primary students through tailored instruction, feedback, and digital learning resources.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized, high-quality mathematics instruction in one-on-one or small-group virtual settings
- Adapt instruction to each student's unique learning needs
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies and digital tools
- Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback
- Adjust teaching methods to optimize learning outcomes
- Plan and execute session content and assessment timelines
- Conduct professional, interactive live sessions using online learning resources
- Set relevant homework and provide constructive feedback
- Develop educational materials and contribute to CGA’s resource library
- Efficiently manage the online classroom, including Canvas assignments and assessments
- Support ANZ primary students with personalized mathematics tutoring across primary year levels
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary/primary education, a related field, or the subject area
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms
- Passion for innovative education methods
- Ability to dedicate consistent weekly hours for 6–9 months once you take a student
- Typically building toward 15–20 hours/week as caseload grows
- Experience teaching primary mathematics (preferred)
- Experience teaching online (preferred)
- Availability during NZT and/or AEST daytime windows (preferred)
- Ability to teach ANZ primary students
- Ability to conduct one-on-one or small-group virtual instruction
