Job Description

Virtual teacher tutoring K–12 students receiving behavioral-health treatment. Providing 1:1 and small-group academic support, especially in high-school math and science.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual tutoring to child and adolescent school-age patients receiving treatment in behavioral health facilities
  • Provide academic support in 1:1 and small-group settings
  • Act as an aide by guiding students through educational material
  • Ensure students’ academic success
  • Assist with K–12 core subjects, particularly high school math and science
  • Help students continue their education during treatment and successfully reintegrate into the classroom

Requirements:

  • B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
  • Massachusetts teaching license
  • Comfortable working with middle and high school students
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs, especially high school math and science
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Working computer
  • Distraction-free workspace
  • Consistent availability Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–10:00 PM EST
  • Minimum commitment of 12.5 hours per week
