Job Description
Online Teacher Aide supporting remote students with learning and health needs. Collaborating with virtual teachers in Aotearoa Infinite Academy’s inclusive digital school.
Responsibilities:
- Lead small-group breakout activities
- Provide tailored live 1:1 support to help students access the curriculum
- Assist remote students with elevated learning or health needs
- Maintain consistent student engagement and routines
- Partner with online teachers during live sessions
- Manage digital resources and encourage student participation
- Utilize educational applications and assistive technologies
- Guide students through online learning platforms
Requirements:
- Compassionate and patient approach tailored to remote learners
- Comfortable navigating learning management systems and online tools
- Adaptable to technology changes during live sessions
- Clear, warm written and verbal communication
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers and students
- High degree of relational warmth
- Proactive problem-solving
- Respect for student privacy and confidentiality online
