Job Description
Principal Cloud Architect leading multi-cloud infrastructure design and optimization at Banner Health. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, security, and innovation across cloud systems.
Responsibilities:
- Leads cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize Banner Health’s multi-cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and OCI.
- Develop the long-term cloud strategy ensuring scalability, security, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness across the organization’s cloud systems.
- Work closely with Cloud Platform Engineering & Operations and Network Operations departments.
- Lead cloud adoption and migration, enhance cloud maturity, improve performance, implement best practices, and drive cloud-based innovation.
- Provide strategic and technical oversight in developing, managing, and optimizing multi-cloud environments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.
- At least 15 years of software engineering, digital engineering and application modernization experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and developing cloud and microservices at scale.
- Experience optimizing Kubernetes deployed workloads on cloud platforms.
- Experience with AI development tools.
- Experience leading peers in enterprise solutions delivery.
- Proven experience with platform operating models and product-driven digital engineering.
- Hands-on experience designing and scaling digital applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure.
- Experience with large-scale cloud migrations and modernization initiatives.
