Job Description
Principal Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant supporting Argano clients’ Oracle Fusion finance systems. Owning incidents, quarterly updates, configuration, testing, and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing functional support and advisory services across the Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials suite.
- Consult with clients using Oracle Cloud Financial Applications knowledge and industry best practices to provide cost-effective solutions.
- Triage and own incidents and service requests through resolution while meeting service-level targets.
- Troubleshoot issues through functional analysis, configuration review, data validation, log and process review, replication, root-cause analysis, and regression testing.
- Open and manage Oracle Service Requests when vendor assistance is required.
- Lead quarterly update readiness activities, including feature review, client-impact assessment, configuration changes, test scenarios, regression and user acceptance testing, documentation, and end-user enablement.
- Improve support processes and document common issues and workarounds.
- Refine, document, and present client requirements for approval.
- Identify and apply creative approaches to resolving system issues.
- Participate in team training activities to remain current with Oracle Cloud functionality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.
- MBA, relevant master's degree or PhD expected.
- Minimum 8–10 years of Oracle Financials functional consulting experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation or production support experience.
- Experience supporting multiple clients or complex environments in a managed services model is strongly preferred.
- Preferred to be a CPA/CA equivalent with an in-depth understanding of finance business processes.
- Ability to analyze Oracle Fusion Financials configurations, accounting rules, workflows, security roles, scheduled processes, reports, data loads, and integration touchpoints.
- Ability to independently research, reproduce, test, configure, and resolve client issues within agreed priorities and service levels.
- Ability to open, track, and manage Oracle Service Requests.
- Proven experience with guiding clients through business process improvements and solving day-to-day issues.
- Ability to lead a team, work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Prior experience leading or managing projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
- High commitment to exceed performance expectations.
- Professional approach when dealing with internal and external clients.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances.
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
