Job Description
Founding Solutions Engineer enabling MedScout’s MedTech revenue acceleration platform through enterprise data integrations and AI solutions. Owning discovery, technical validation, security reviews, demos, and reusable sales enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise sales cycles
- Diagnose customer commercial questions and map them to CRM, warehouse, identity, and vendor environments
- Translate MedScout data into commercial insights, including coverage, latency, identity resolution, attribution, code-set logic, and patient-journey use cases
- Own scoping and delivery of Snowflake Secure Data Sharing, Databricks Delta Sharing, cloud object storage, API delivery, CRM, and downstream analytics workflows
- Own technical, methodology, and governance sections of RFPs, RFIs, security reviews, and questionnaires, including SOC 2, HIPAA, BAAs, and data use agreements
- Coordinate data, engineering, product, and legal stakeholders and own response quality and turnaround
- Enable demo environments with fresh data templates, working accounts, reset cadence, persona-specific paths, and packaged use-case plays
- Own the technical narrative for MedScout’s in-product agent, public MCP server, and customer AI-tool integrations
- Address AI provenance, grounding, access control, and governance questions
- Track the AI-tool ecosystem and translate developments into customer data solutions
- Convert field knowledge into discovery guides, training materials, answer libraries, architecture patterns, and enablement
- Run feedback loops from the field back to Product
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Data, Engineering, and commercial leadership
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions engineer, sales engineer, solutions architect, solutions consultant, or heavily client-facing data consulting
- Personally owned the technical outcome of enterprise deals
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or an equivalent modern data warehouse platform
- Ability to write and tune SQL against very large tables
- Understanding of warehouse cost and performance
- Experience setting up or consuming secure data shares
- Experience with Streamlit in Snowflake, Databricks Apps, or modern BI tools such as Tableau, Hex, or Superset is a bonus
- Experience delivering data into another organization’s environment via warehouse share, API, or file
- Experience with security reviews and data use agreements
- Credible knowledge of REST API design, authentication, pagination, rate limits, and webhooks
- CRM fluency, including managed packages, object models, field mapping, and sync direction
- Ability to advise on Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics data integration
- Working command of healthcare claims or real-world data concepts including CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, PLA, DRG, place of service, NPI and taxonomy, and site-of-care logic
- Strong technical communication and writing skills
- Daily working use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, or similar
- Builder mindset and experience creating reusable tools or processes
- Strongly preferred: MedTech, diagnostics, or digital health commercial experience
- Strongly preferred: experience at a claims or provider intelligence vendor
- Strongly preferred: familiarity with MCP, agent tooling, or LLM-powered workflows on a data product
- Strongly preferred: BI depth and comfort with basic Python
- Strongly preferred: exposure to enterprise healthcare security and governance review
- Ability to work in the US, as indicated by the required application question asking whether the applicant is based in the US
- Must address whether US work sponsorship is currently or potentially required
