Job Description
Program Manager overseeing Medicaid client relationships, budgets, contracts, and delivery plans at Gainwell Technologies. Monitoring program metrics, risks, and business goals for healthcare operations.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage client relationships, with support from the Program Director, ensuring client satisfaction
- Work with clients to design project approaches and develop service delivery plans
- Oversee and manage contracts, products/services, or special projects
- Monitor and report progress toward business goals to leadership
- Manage, prepare, and monitor budget and revenue expectations for assigned clients
- Potentially supervise additional account management staff, such as Program Specialists
- Project manage across non-direct reports and recommend program changes as needed
- Escalate risks quickly and implement risk mitigation solutions
- Communicate with client, company, and project team leadership
- Measure and share project metrics and status
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or 7+ years of relevant work experience in Medicaid without a bachelor’s degree
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to train, guide and mentor junior colleagues
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Word
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or willingness to obtain it within 1 year of being hired
- Comfortable working hours aligned with the team in the Pacific Time Zone (US)
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
