Job Description
Program Manager overseeing client information-security programs for Optiv, a cybersecurity services company. Managing delivery plans, budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholder relationships remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client engagements from inception to completion
- Identify and document requirements
- Support clients on information security initiatives
- Keep stakeholders apprised of program and budget status
- Manage program health throughout the lifecycle, including onboarding, service activation, continuation, renewal, and decommissioning
- Onboard program teams, assign responsibilities, identify resources, and develop schedules
- Build trusting client relationships and deliver outcomes aligned with commercial commitments
- Oversee program activity across key Advanced Fusion Center client engagements
- Lead contributors such as Client Engagement Specialists, Project Managers, and Subject Matter Experts
- Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and supporting account leadership
- Drive progress across multiple client engagements and capabilities
- Develop delivery plans, schedules, controls, forecasts, risk plans, issue resolution plans, resource analyses, and reports
- Partner with Operations teams on service delivery strategies
- Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and resolutions
- Set stakeholder expectations and align customer goals
- Develop program health analyses and internal reporting
- Lead delivery schedules, resource models, and execution plans
- Serve as the customer’s single point of contact throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Assign tasks, monitor completion, and escalate as needed
- Generate reports and lead program meetings
- Monitor and report engagement budget, margin, and resource variance
- Work with sales, account, demand, and solution teams on program solution design, tools, and reporting
- Support at-risk engagements and escalations across the AFC portfolio
- Manage multiple multi-year engagements
- Contribute to reporting, standards, frameworks, financial analysis, communications, and strategic planning
- Document case studies, requirements, procedures, and lessons learned
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BA or BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field
- 4+ years of experience in a client facing Program, Project or PMO role within a professional services organization, with emphasis on information security projects and programs
- Demonstrated program management expertise and success managing cross-capability engagements across multiple clients
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Strong influential skills and customer-focused program leadership capabilities
- Management of information security engagements or operations required
- Expert level experience with Program Management methodologies, best practices, and tools
- Experience interfacing with both clients and internal business partners required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including making clear and concise presentations to various audiences with an executive presence
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills required
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision required
- Significant experience as a consultant providing security expertise to clients preferred
- Current knowledge of security threats, solutions, security tools and network technologies strongly desired
