Job Description
Prompt Engineer optimizing prompts for AI-driven workflows at Gruve. Candidates from IIT or premier institutes are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Design, refine, and optimize prompts and prompt pipelines for LLM-based applications.
- Build structured prompt frameworks (few-shot, chain-of-thought, role prompting, tool prompting).
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, bias, hallucination, and reliability.
- Work with engineering teams to integrate prompts into APIs and AI products.
- Develop prompt libraries and reusable templates for various use cases.
- Run experiments to benchmark prompt strategies across different LLMs.
- Create guardrails and evaluation methods for safe and consistent AI responses.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to improve AI performance.
Requirements:
- Tech / M.Tech / PhD in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, Linguistics, or related field.
- Strong preference for candidates from Indian Institutes of Technology or equivalent institutions.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning ability.
- Excellent written communication and language structuring skills.
- Understanding of LLMs, generative AI, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
- Ready to work on Contract
