Job Description
Product analytics consultant delivering business insights and dashboards for Allstate Canada’s personal insurance portfolio. Supporting strategic decisions through performance analysis, reporting automation, and stakeholder recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Compile, clean, organize, and analyze data to support business objectives and decision-making
- Analyze business performance to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and emerging issues
- Evaluate business initiatives and strategic priorities through data analysis and performance measurement
- Develop and enhance reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions
- Translate data and analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and solve complex analytical problems
- Advance analytical capabilities through reporting modernization, automation, visualization, and process improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and support to team members while promoting analytical best practices
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or related disciplines
- Experience with Power BI and data visualization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to inform business decisions
- Experience extracting, analyzing and interpreting complex data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, or performance monitoring solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus: Experience with SQL, Python, SAS, or similar analytical tools
- Bonus: Experience with data visualization, business intelligence, or reporting automation
- Bonus: Familiarity with insurance, financial services, or other data-driven business environments
