Job Description
Lead Instructor teaching Data Science and Analytics at WBS CODING SCHOOL, a German tech school. Guiding international students through workshops, projects, mentorship, and evaluations.
Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging Data Science and Data Analytics topics
- Conduct hands-on workshops covering Python, SQL, Pandas, Tableau, Machine Learning and more
- Guide and support students through projects and assignments
- Collaborate with other instructors
- Contribute to improving teaching content
- Provide feedback, mentorship and motivation throughout students’ learning journeys
- Participate in student evaluations, final project mentoring and classroom events
Requirements:
- 2+ years of practical or instructional experience in Data Science or Data Analytics
- Deep understanding and experience with SQL
- Extensive experience with Python for data analysis, including NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib and Seaborn
- Experience with Machine Learning, including Scikit-Learn, Keras and LangChain
- Highly proficient in English and German, spoken and written (C1+)
- Residents of Germany, Austria or Spain only
- Good to have: experience with Cloud Computing, including Azure or Google Cloud
- Good to have: experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools such as Looker or Power BI
- Good to have: ability to perform A/B tests
- Good to have: familiarity with Statistical Inference concepts
- Good to have: extended knowledge of adult education and the tech industry
