Job Description
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner providing tele-psychiatry services for New York correctional facilities. Delivering comprehensive mental health care to underserved correctional patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tele-psychiatry services for county level correctional facilities throughout New York State
- Provide comprehensive mental health care to an underserved and diverse correctional patient population
- Work a 40-hour-per-week schedule, Monday–Friday during normal business hours
- Utilize medical skills and knowledge in a correctional health care environment
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Maintain current DEA license
- Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification
- Maintain current Driver’s License
