Job Description
Part-time Python/Django Software Engineer enhancing healthcare solutions for patients. Work flexibly with a remote role improving quality of care and clinician workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Work on Python & Django, in collaboration with Development and Product teams.
- Build a complex infrastructure of services to enhance solutions for patients, clinicians, researchers, and hospitals.
- Contribute to the development of digital therapeutics and other patient-facing applications.
- Develop clinician dashboards, remote patient monitoring workflows, integrations with third-party systems, analytics pipelines, and tools for researchers and clinical trials.
- Flexible working hours of approximately 15-25 hours/week.
Requirements:
- Must-haves
- At least 2 years experience with Python/Django (ideally; or alternatively, another MVC framework)
- At least 2 years experience with relational databases and SQL technologies (ideally PostgreSQL)
- Solid understanding of HTTP and RESTful web service design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Django Templates.
- Ability to plan work, prioritise tasks independently and efficiently, in order to meet deadlines.
- Passion for high-quality output.
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience with cloud-based services such as Heroku, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, DigitalOcean.
- Understanding of integration and deployment processes.
