Job Description
QA Automation Analyst building Cypress and JavaScript test automation for EX Squared’s digital transformation projects. Ensuring quality across web, mobile, accessibility, integration, and AI-powered products.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.
- Create reliable and reusable automation solutions that improve test coverage and reduce repetitive manual testing.
- Perform functional, integration, accessibility, end-to-end, website, and mobile testing.
- Validate application functionality, content, links, images, integrations, and overall user experience across different environments.
- Take ownership of QA activities within an Agile development team, identifying risks and ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Document, report, and track defects using tools such as Jira or Xray.
- Analyze test results to identify patterns, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve the testing process.
- Collaborate with developers to understand functionality, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas requiring additional testing.
- Continuously expand and optimize automated test coverage as products and features evolve.
- Communicate testing progress, results, defects, and potential risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate test authoring, identify additional test scenarios, and support exploratory testing.
- Contribute to testing strategies for products that may include AI-generated content, LLMs, or agentic workflows.
- Work within an Agile, international, distributed technology team with a high level of autonomy and ownership.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in web application testing.
- Strong experience designing and writing automated tests using JavaScript and Cypress or similar automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing best practices, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with manual, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience documenting and managing defects using Jira, Xray, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build reliable tests using maintainable structures, reusable components, and robust selectors.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and user experience.
- Ability to independently manage QA priorities and take ownership of quality within an Agile team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate QA findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with accessibility testing.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools to support test authoring or QA workflows.
- Availability to collaborate with distributed international teams, including working overlap.
- Experience building or maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
- Experience with BrowserStack, Axe, Postman, GraphQL, or Firebase.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
- Experience working in agency, consultancy, startup, or other fast-paced delivery environments.
- Familiarity with testing AI-powered products or non-deterministic systems.
- Experience with LLM evaluation tools such as LangSmith, PromptFoo, or custom evaluation pipelines.
- Familiarity with golden datasets, regression testing for prompt changes, or LLM-as-judge approaches.
- Advanced English.
- 6-month contract duration.
