Job Description

QA Automation Engineer developing Python test suites for CodiLime’s networking clients’ Routing SD-WAN products. Debugging CI/CD failures and validating routing features at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for the Routing SD-WAN area on the CI/CD test orchestration platform
  • Own weekly regression runs by monitoring results, triaging failures, and driving them to resolution
  • Debug failed runs by analyzing device, system, and test logs
  • Distinguish product bugs from test-suite or environment issues and raise well-documented defects
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand delivered features and design test coverage
  • Extend test automation as new Routing features are delivered
  • Use AI tools for scripting, log analysis, and root cause identification
  • Coordinate issue resolution with suite owners and development/test engineers through collaboration channels

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python-based test automation using pytest or similar frameworks
  • Experience with pyATS/Genie highly desirable
  • Experience in network test automation
  • Solid networking knowledge focused on BGP, OSPF, routing tables, VRFs, and Layer 3 networking concepts
  • Understanding of SD-WAN concepts, including overlay architecture, policies, and IPsec tunnels
  • Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills across product, test, and environment layers
  • Experience collaborating with software development teams and translating features into test scenarios
  • Hands-on use of AI tools such as Copilot or Codex in everyday engineering work
  • Experience with REST APIs and/or WebSockets
  • Experience with Docker
  • Good Linux command-line skills, shell scripting, and command-line tools
  • Good knowledge of English at B2+ level
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines is a nice-to-have
  • Experience with physical or virtual network testbeds and virtual routers is a nice-to-have
  • Experience with formal defect tracking systems is a nice-to-have
  • Experience with traffic generators is a nice-to-have
