Job Description
Mid-level QA Engineer testing AI-driven platforms for security, correctness, and financial integrity. Validating SQL/Postgres data, RPC flows, access controls, and settlement paths.
Responsibilities:
- Author and execute functional test cases for core user journeys, including account creation, call/challenge/pool flow, and outcome resolution
- Test against the SECURITY DEFINER RPC layer rather than direct table access
- Support the lead on settlement-path and money-movement testing
- Exercise age-gating and identity-verification flows where testable, subject to Persona credential availability
- Work with seeded test accounts and client-provided data while respecting exact handle formatting
- Log defects with clear reproduction steps in the shared tracker
- Re-test after fixes
- Cover the functional surface of the client’s platform and support high-risk settlement and access-control work
Requirements:
- Solid QA / test-engineering experience on modern web applications
- SQL / Postgres proficiency for validating data and results
- Working knowledge of Next.js or comparable JS frameworks and API/RPC testing
- Careful, detail-exact test execution
- Reproducible defect reporting in clear written English
- Exposure to payments, wallet, or transaction testing (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with Supabase / Vercel (nice-to-have)
- Interest in real-money-platform testing and a path toward settlement work (nice-to-have)
