Job Description
COBOL Software Analyst maintaining and evolving HRM’s enterprise mainframe applications. Analyzing anomalies and developing reliable corrective and evolutionary solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical analysis, development, and corrective and evolutionary maintenance of COBOL procedures
- Maintain and evolve enterprise applications based on mainframe technologies
- Collaborate with technical teams and project stakeholders on application enhancements
- Analyze application anomalies and implement new functionalities
- Ensure quality, operational continuity, and stability of solutions
Requirements:
- Solid experience developing with COBOL
- Experience in technical analysis, application development, and application maintenance
- Knowledge of mainframe environments
- Familiarity with batch procedures and online applications
- Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Ability to analyze and resolve application anomalies
- Experience managing corrective and evolutionary maintenance
- Good knowledge of English at B2 level
- CICS knowledge is nice to have
- DB2 knowledge is nice to have
- Experience in banking, insurance, or other enterprise environments is nice to have
- Familiarity with application migration and modernization processes is nice to have
