Job Description
Junior SAP ABAP Consultant assisting with ABAP programs and learning best practices from senior developers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining ABAP reports, including simple ALV outputs.
- Support modifications to Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
- Help implement basic SAP enhancements such as User Exits, Customer Exits, and BADIs.
- Contribute to screen enhancements and small UI adjustments (e.g., adding fields to standard transactions).
- Work with the team to perform debugging and resolve issues in custom programs.
- Support data migration tasks, including basic BDC programs or simple table maintenance updates.
- Participate in documentation of technical designs and testing activities.
- Collaborate with functional and technical team members to understand requirements and provide support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Foundational experience or coursework in SAP ABAP programming (reports, internal tables, modularization, etc.).
- Basic understanding of SAP tools such as SE11, SE38, SE80.
- Exposure to form development (Smart Forms or Adobe) is a plus.
- Familiarity with debugging techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, take direction, and work collaboratively.
