Job Description
Senior SAP MM Consultant focusing on Brazil localization and compliance. Involves configuring pricing and tax procedures while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a functional reference in SAP MM with a focus on Brazil localization.
- Design, configure, and maintain pricing schemes for purchasing processes (MM).
- Configure indirect taxes in collaboration with SD and FI.
- Analyze impacts and support the adaptation of MM processes to changes resulting from the Tax Reform.
- Work closely with FI, SD, Tax, ABAP, and Integration teams.
- Support functional design, documentation, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Perform incident analysis and improvements, ensuring tax compliance and adherence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SAP MM consultant.
- Demonstrated experience creating pricing for purchasing in SAP.
- Strong knowledge of Brazil Localization applied to MM.
- Hands-on experience configuring taxes in SAP (Tax Procedure, conditions, exceptions, tax determination).
- Knowledge of the impacts of the Brazilian Tax Reform on purchasing processes and SAP.
- Experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Functional analysis skills and the ability to translate tax requirements into SAP configuration.
- Desired technical knowledge: Experience with S/4HANA – MM and Tax.
- Familiarity or experience with SAP TAXBRA, J1BTAX, J1B, or external tax solutions (e.g., Mastersaf, Synchro, Thomson, etc.).
- Experience in ECC → S/4HANA conversion projects.
- Experience with large enterprise clients and environments with a high volume of integrations.
- SAP MM certification (preferred).
