Job Description
Science Resource Developer creating engaging educational materials for high-achieving students at Contour Education. Develop questions and resources aligned with the curriculum and improve student learning outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging, exam-style questions, lesson guides, and worksheets that are curriculum-aligned and challenge students.
- Craft questions that promote higher-order thinking, application, and creativity.
- Analyse performance feedback to sharpen and improve resources.
- Work with tutors, team leads, and subject heads to ensure alignment with teaching strategies.
- Complete weekly tasks and maintain high-quality standards with proactive communication.
- Proofread, review, and validate content for accuracy, logic, and relevance.
Requirements:
- Strong subject expertise and research skills to produce high-quality resources.
- Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous work habits.
- Experience in curriculum-aligned resource development (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with tutors, academic teams, and leadership.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
- Proactive mindset: identifies gaps in resources and proposes solutions.
- Continuous improvement: incorporates feedback to enhance resource quality.
