Job Description
Security Consultant at Akamai ensuring customer security service integration. Collaborating with teams and providing expertise in web security systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to understand customer use cases and tuning solutions to meet client needs
- Partnering with sales teams internally to fully understand customer business needs in order to ensure their success
- Participating on internal projects to contribute to best practices, improving our methodology and quality of solution delivery
- Participating in training and projects contributing to best practices, maximizing efficiency, and improving methodology and service quality
Requirements:
- Have 2+ years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Demonstrate experience with internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL and how CDNs work
- Have relevant customer facing experience within a consultative environment
- Have achieved or be interested in obtaining cyber security credentials such as Security+, SSCP, GSEC or others
- Demonstrate knowledge of project management concepts and techniques
- Have knowledge of implementation concepts that deal with web development, IT systems or security practice
