Job Description
Security Consultant II leading Prolexic DDoS integration, testing, and project delivery. Advising Akamai customers on web security, mitigation, and long-term security strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration and project management of the Prolexic DDoS service across the Prolexic customer base
- Support value confirmation of Prolexic DDoS services through successful integration, testing, and operational readiness
- Enable effective DDoS mitigation for customers
- Ensure customer success by applying best practices and helping develop long-term security posture and strategy
- Partner cross-functionally to improve integration efficiency, deliver high-quality service, and ensure customer engagement
- Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer requirements, set expectations, and deliver best-in-class solutions
- Act as an end-to-end trusted advisor to customers from pre-sales through integration and performance
- Deliver technical solutions and creatively tackle challenges affecting high-profile customers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience managing complex projects and serving as the main customer contact during integration
- Knowledge of internet technologies including IP networks, DNS, routing, networking technologies, HTTP, TCP, and web architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation ability
- Sound judgment, solid decision-making, and contingency planning
- Ability to articulate highly technical information clearly and understandably
