Job Description
Security Engineer specializing in macOS security architecture and telemetry research for a next-gen endpoint security platform. Focused on observability, threat analysis, and collaboration with engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Architect macOS telemetry pipelines
- Dissect adversary tradecraft
- Conduct attack scenario analysis
- Define security event ontology
- Perform systems research on macOS internals
- Validate telemetry coverage through adversary emulation
- Collaborate with engineering to translate research into production
- Stay current with offensive security research
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in macOS operating system internals and kernel security architecture
- Strong background in offensive security or threat research
- Experience with macOS kernel instrumentation and telemetry systems
- Systems research mindset
- Proven ability to dissect and analyze adversary techniques
- Strong analytical and threat modeling skills
- Ability to communicate complex security and systems concepts
- Comfortable in fast-paced startup environments
