Job Description
Security Operations AI Engineer securing enterprise AI/ML systems for 66degrees, an AI transformation partner. Building detection pipelines, incident playbooks, and governance controls for emerging AI threats.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and complete all tasks in assigned projects
- Contribute to the Security Operations and Engineering Team maintaining the security integrity of mission-critical applications
- Provide 24/7 critical security incident response when immediate resolution is required
- Ensure security tooling is operational and meets service and availability requirements
- Establish operational practices, tools, and processes for rapid identification and mitigation of security events
- Plan, organize, and execute responsibilities to achieve project goals and provide technical leadership
- Contribute to security requirements, standards, procedures, and reference architectures
- Develop and maintain AI/ML security incident response playbooks and detection logic
- Monitor and secure generative AI systems, LLMs, and AI-powered applications
- Contribute to AI governance frameworks and policies
- Analyze security implications of AI/ML tools and platforms before production deployment
- Participate in AI threat intelligence activities
- Conduct post-incident analysis and develop preventive measures for AI security events
- Review and validate AI model robustness against adversarial inputs and data privacy protections
- Build and maintain AI operations tooling, pipelines, and telemetry supporting secure AI/ML deployment
- Configure AI/ML telemetry and logging for security detection and forensic analysis
Requirements:
- Experience or capability in AI information security operations, incident response, and security engineering
- Experience securing AI/ML systems and infrastructure
- Experience with security operations and engineering for mission-critical applications
- Ability to provide 24/7 availability for critical security incident response
- Experience maintaining security tooling at required service and availability levels
- Experience with security requirements, standards, procedures, and reference architectures
- Experience developing AI/ML security detection logic and incident response playbooks
- Knowledge of AI/ML security threats including prompt injection, model poisoning, data exfiltration, and adversarial attacks
- Experience monitoring and securing generative AI systems, large language models (LLMs), and AI-powered applications
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, responsible AI practices, and AI-specific security standards
- Ability to evaluate security implications of AI/ML tools and platforms before production deployment
- Knowledge of AI threat intelligence, emerging AI security vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies
- Experience configuring AI/ML telemetry and logging for security event detection and forensic analysis
- Ability to validate AI model security properties, adversarial robustness, and data privacy protections
- Must be unable to require visa sponsorship or transfer; 66degrees cannot sponsor or transfer visas of any kind
