Job Description
Senior Accountant overseeing manufacturing accounting transactions at CPI Card Group. Managing monthly financial processes and ensuring compliance with company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the entry and review of transactions related to manufacturing processes.
- Managing material batching, production batching, and job closures.
- Collaborating with other departments on transactions.
- Handling month-end responsibilities, including processing journal entries for rebates, commissions, inventory, WIP, and revenue.
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts each month and resolving discrepancies.
- Upholding compliance with company policies and the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in accounting and financial analysis, particularly in a manufacturing setting, is essential.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, specifically in subledger or general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including sumif, lookup functions, and pivot tables, is a must.
