Job Description
Senior Accountant preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and tax returns for Findex clients across New Zealand. Remote public-practice accounting and business advisory role.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all aspects of clients’ engagements run smoothly, focusing on client delivery
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individual businesses
- Complete jobs effectively while meeting technical standards and deadlines within budget
- Ensure compliance obligations are met with providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and offices
Requirements:
- Proven accounting experience within Public Practice
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand taxation requirements
- CA or CPA qualification is an advantage
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and offices
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Curious mindset and eagerness to learn
- Passion for accounting and business advisory services
