Job Description
Senior Accountant preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and tax returns for Findex, a New Zealand audit and advisory leader. Ensuring compliant, timely client delivery across businesses and trusts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses
- Ensure jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget
- Ensure compliance obligations are met with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients within office locations
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and offices
- Focus on smooth client engagement delivery
Requirements:
- Proven accounting experience within Public Practice
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand taxation requirements
- CA or CPA qualification is an advantage
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Curious mindset and eagerness to learn
- Passion for accounting and business advisory services
