Job Description
Senior Accountant managing HGB accounting for FEIYR, an international digital distributor of music, eBooks, and audiobooks. Handling ledgers, payments, reporting, and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Independent handling of ongoing financial accounting in accordance with HGB
- Execution and management of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Processing and reconciliation of bank transactions and payment operations
- Responsibility for fixed asset accounting
- Account reconciliations and clearing of open items
- Support for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Preparation of analyses and reports
- Optimization and further development of accounting processes
- Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners
Requirements:
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training, ideally with further qualification in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
- At least 4 years of professional experience in accounting
- Very good knowledge of HGB and confident use of DATEV
- Solid experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Solid experience in bank transactions and payment processing
- Very good Excel skills, particularly with pivot tables, as well as reporting and data analysis
- Experience in fixed asset accounting desirable
- Structured, independent and responsible working style
- High initiative, reliability and attention to detail
- Controlling experience is a plus
