Job Description
Analytics Engineer developing advanced analytical solutions and AI models for Grupo Casas Bahia. Collaborating in business squads to drive data-driven decisions and value generation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions aimed at solving business problems.
- Translate the needs of partner areas into analytical models, data products and scalable solutions.
- Design analytical architectures and data pipelines (ETL/ELT), ensuring quality, performance and governance.
- Build, train, deploy and monitor predictive and prescriptive models, ensuring their continuous improvement.
- Develop data- and AI-based products such as recommendation engines, segmentation, forecasting and intelligent automations.
- Apply MLOps and DataOps practices to ensure versioning, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of models in production.
- Serve as a technical reference within squads, supporting architectural decisions and promoting Analytics and AI best practices.
- Contribute to the evolution of a data-driven culture by encouraging strategic use of data across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, manipulation and processing.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, Machine Learning and development of analytical models.
- Experience developing Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning and AI solutions applied to business.
- Experience building data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and processing large volumes of data.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and analytical data architectures.
- Experience with MLOps, DataOps, versioning, deployment and monitoring of models in production environments.
- Knowledge of systems integration and API development for model serving.
