Job Description
Field Service Technician maintaining McKesson healthcare hardware, software, and automation equipment for Pennsylvania customers. Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting field operations with frequent travel.
Responsibilities:
- Install, set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair client hardware and software systems and equipment
- Coordinate and cooperate with support teams and third parties
- Act as service representative for specific customers
- Participate in the on-call schedule
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Maintain customer satisfaction
- Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to execute service requests promptly
- Execute installations, repairs, changes, and assigned equipment tasks at customer sites, including after-hours work
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Complete administrative, reporting, and mandatory training requirements
- Deliver packages to courier depots or airports during emergencies or after courier pickup times
- Participate in commercial showcase event setup
- Assist the sales team as a service representative during negotiations and periodic equipment-performance reviews
- Foster an excellence and customer-first service culture
- Follow McKesson Canada ILEAD and ICARE principles
Requirements:
- Clean driver's license
- Valid US Passport
- Ability to travel Monday-Friday
- Reliable vehicle for local calls
- Live in PA
- Electronic, Robotics or Electro-mechanic college degree
- 2-5+ years of experience as an FST
- Experience with pneumatic and robotics systems, troubleshooting and repair is an asset
- Experience with complex electronic control systems, troubleshooting and repair is an asset
- Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is an asset
- Experience with Hospital Automation and healthcare automation is an asset
- Ability to learn and understand McKesson APS equipment functions
- Excellent interpersonal customer service skills
- Effective communication with individuals from varied backgrounds
- Relevant frontline, field-based technical customer service experience is a clear asset
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a time-critical environment
- Customer First, team-oriented, positive attitude
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Ability to collaborate with various departments to resolve customer issues
- Must have and maintain a valid driving license
- Frequent regional travel and occasional travel anywhere within Canada
- Availability after hours and weekends for on-call support and installations
- Ability to move boxes and equipment weighing up to 30 kg and perform installation work in cabinetry and elevated spaces
