Job Description

Senior automation test engineer building Selenium Java QA solutions for Accesa, a technology company serving major retail, manufacturing, finance, and banking brands. Leading scalable automation, CI/CD quality, and cross-functional testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement scalable automation practices aligned with the overall test strategy
  • Design, develop, and maintain Selenium WebDriver scripts and test plans
  • Enhance automation frameworks for performance
  • Manage Selenium Grid and parallel execution
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with QA, developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve defects and align testing with business goals
  • Guide junior and mid-level QA engineers
  • Participate in code reviews and share best practices
  • Generate test metrics and analyze results
  • Contribute to improvements in quality processes and tools
  • Perform manual end-to-end testing as part of day-to-day work

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Automation Test Engineering
  • Proven expertise in Selenium WebDriver and a programming language such as Java
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum practices, and test management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or TestRail
  • Experience with version control using Git
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for diagnosing test failures and enhancing test coverage
  • Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes
  • Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
  • Willingness to perform manual end-to-end testing
  • Nice to have: experience with performance and accessibility testing tools such as JMeter or Locust
  • Nice to have: familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure
  • Nice to have: background in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or CodeceptJS
  • Nice to have: exposure to mobile test automation using Appium
  • Nice to have: understanding of testing strategies for scalable, distributed systems
