Job Description

Senior Backend Developer utilizing Node.js for high-complexity financial projects. Involvement in backend systems focusing on performance, security, and scalability within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the development and deployment of backend systems using Node.js, following best practices and architectural patterns.
  • Develop robust, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs, with a focus on PIX and financial systems.
  • Work with microservices architecture, containers (Docker) and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform technical analysis of business and evolution requests together with systems analysts and business teams.
  • Ensure technical quality, performance and security of systems in production and staging environments.
  • Create and maintain technical and architectural documentation for systems.
  • Provide technical mentorship to the team, supporting best practices in development, testing and architecture.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of architecture and technical standards adopted in the CCS (MDS).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field.
  • Node.js with Express (ES6 or higher).
  • Software architecture, RESTful principles and design patterns.
  • MongoDB (including complex aggregate queries) and relational databases (SQL).
  • Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ or similar).
  • Unit and integration testing, code quality and tools such as Sonar.
  • Version control with Git and GitFlow.
  • CI/CD (Jenkins, Sonar, automated pipelines).
  • Object-oriented, functional and reactive programming.
  • Clean Code practices and refactoring.
  • Experience with PIX, the financial sector or payment methods.
  • Plus: experience with financial, banking or high-transaction-volume systems.
  • Knowledge of information security and LGPD (Brazil’s data protection law).
