Job Description

Senior C++ Engineer developing software for medical devices at Nagarro. Designing, maintaining, and optimizing C++ applications as part of a global team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern C++.
  • Implement new features while following established architecture and coding standards.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and efficient memory usage.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical leads to translate system designs into high-quality implementations.
  • Contribute to component design, interfaces, and API development.
  • Integrate software with backend services, third-party libraries, and hardware components where required.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
  • Investigate and resolve defects through root cause analysis and debugging.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements across the codebase.
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
  • Use AI-powered development tools where appropriate to improve software delivery and engineering productivity throughout the SDLC.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Strong experience with modern C++: C++17/C++20
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and software architecture
  • Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and testing
  • Knowledge of Git and Agile development practices
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools
  • Nice to have: Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 or similar standards
  • Experience with hardware integration, embedded systems, or device communication
