Job Description
Senior Cloud Systems Engineer leading Telecare’s hybrid cloud infrastructure for behavioral health services. Designing secure, scalable Azure, on-premise, database, storage, and reliability solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and operation of Telecare’s hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Focus infrastructure on cost-effectiveness, availability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Support on-premise private cloud, public cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, database engineering, storage, and site reliability engineering.
- Recommend ways to leverage public cloud efficiency while maintaining secure data on-premises.
- Automate Microsoft Azure reliability solutions, including HA/DR configuration, multi-AZ and multi-region deployment, and auto scaling.
- Integrate Azure cloud with third-party software, SaaS services, and on-premise applications.
- Design, deploy, and support infrastructure systems.
- Provide leadership within the infrastructure team.
- Apply ITIL practices including service management, capacity management, change management, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Four or more years of experience and deep working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including automating Azure reliability solutions such as HA/DR configuration, multi-AZ and multi-region deployment, and auto scaling.
- Experience integrating Azure cloud with third-party software, other SaaS services, or on-premise applications.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven knowledge working with server and storage hardware and software, including Citrix, VMware, Dell Server and Storage Systems, Windows, and Linux.
- Extensive experience with Active Directory and group policy.
- Experience with relational databases and related technologies, such as MS SQL Server and MySQL.
- Experience with VMware vSphere virtualization technologies using vCenter preferred.
- Experience with networking and security concepts within a hybrid cloud infrastructure environment.
- Exposure to PowerShell and/or bash scripting preferred.
- Ability to work within a team and provide leadership in infrastructure systems design, deployment, and support.
- Good understanding of ITIL, including service management, capacity management, change management, and documentation.
- Azure Cloud Certification preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Successful completion of applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD tuberculosis test, criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
- If driving is required, a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at employment and must be maintained.
