Job Description

Senior Data Analyst focusing on data-driven insights for Growth at beehiiv. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize user journeys and boost retention metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-time growth analysis, with a mix of reporting on and advising on performance (which campaigns are working, opportunities for optimization, interesting insights through the entire end-to-end funnel, ad hoc asks, etc.)
  • Proactive insights and analysis
  • Develop and maintain experiments (A/B tests, feature flagging) to validate hypotheses and measure impact
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to improve event tracking, instrumentation, and data quality
  • Policing tracking and ensuring that we have the coverage we need as we release things, that it's showing up where it needs to, and helping us create a culture of self-serve analytics
  • Planning and executing on more qualitative measurement (surveys, brand lift studies, and the like)
  • Performance deep dives on paid acquisition channels like Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Growth Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within a SaaS or high-growth tech company
  • Advance SQL skills and experience working with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, Metabase, or similar)
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, or similar)
  • Experience with experimentation methodologies (A/B testing, multivariate testing)
  • Experience with ETL and reverse ETL
  • Experience working on products with onboarding funnels, retention growth loops, or churn reduction strategies
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
