Job Description

Senior Director driving AI-enabled modernization across McKesson’s healthcare supply-chain operations. Leading product strategy, transformation programs, business cases, and organizational change.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive AI-enabled transformation across the North American Pharmaceutical Services organization
  • Challenge the status quo and orchestrate cross-functional modernization efforts
  • Partner with business leaders to execute high-impact AIM28 initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to adopt AI and advanced technologies and ensure measurable business outcomes
  • Serve as AI product strategist and voice of the business
  • Define product vision, problem statements, success metrics, and prioritized product roadmaps
  • Lead discovery, ideation, and first-principles problem-solving sessions
  • Translate business challenges into AI use cases, process requirements, and execution plans
  • Design future-state processes integrating machine learning and GenAI/LLM capabilities
  • Drive execution, remove roadblocks, manage interdependencies, and maintain program velocity
  • Develop business cases with Finance, establish KPIs, and track value realization
  • Lead workshops, communicate process changes, and promote adoption of AI-enabled processes
  • Develop and execute change management strategies
  • Engage and influence executives and drive organizational transformation
  • Support process improvement frameworks, governance, ethical AI standards, innovation, and build/buy/partner evaluations
  • Share insights and lessons learned across the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Typically 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business transformation, operations, or program leadership specific to healthcare
  • Fewer years may be required with relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in business transformation, strategy, or relevant healthcare industry roles
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and sharing best practices, particularly in design thinking and transformation
  • Strong financial acumen, including financial modeling such as ROI, NPV, IRR, and capital allocation
  • Deep expertise in AI technologies, data analytics, and their application to business transformation
  • Ability to lead complex projects and workstreams with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to create frameworks and synthesize insights across multiple programs and initiatives
  • Exceptional communication skills for executive decision-making and alignment
  • Demonstrated success driving organizational change, resolving complex issues, and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and drive cultural and organizational transformation
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and responsibilities
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or current/future employer sponsorship
