Job Description

Senior Director leading clinical outreach teams and healthcare partnerships for Newport Healthcare’s behavioral health treatment centers. Driving referrals, business development, compliance, and regional performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a field-based clinical outreach team within the assigned region
  • Hire and retain top-level talent and work with the VP of Clinical Outreach to onboard, train, and develop team members
  • Develop marketing and business development plans with facilities to attract and service clients
  • Develop messaging, customize presentations, and present Newport Healthcare services to target audiences
  • Identify decision makers, establish behavioral healthcare relationships, negotiate and secure partnerships, and participate in conferences
  • Monitor behavioral healthcare industry developments, trends, and assigned-state regulations
  • Conduct quarterly field sessions with each Clinical Outreach team member to drive performance and enhance skills
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision makers to understand needs and secure ongoing partnerships
  • Serve as an escalation point for facility or customer service issues
  • Collaborate with operations, clinical, and admissions leadership to improve access to and delivery of care
  • Respond to service and referral inquiries
  • Complete administrative duties, including managing team budget, activities, performance, and communication
  • Participate in business development meetings and projects and meet monthly business development goals
  • Assist with client assessments when the Clinical Outreach team member has a current up-to-date license
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, social services, or education required
  • Master’s degree in business, social services, or education preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience driving business results in a healthcare position preferred; experience in behavioral health preferred
  • Proven ability to build relationships, lead, manage, and drive business results through others required
  • Current up-to-date license required to assist with client assessments; Clinical Outreach team members do not have authority to clear clients for admission
