Job Description

Senior oncology pharmacy leader advancing drug strategy and practice performance across McKesson’s US Oncology Network. Leading pharmacy directors, enterprise initiatives, and oncology drug economics.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, adoption, and optimization of oncology drug management initiatives across The US Oncology Network
  • Link enterprise strategy with community oncology practice execution
  • Oversee a high-performing team of Pharmacy Solutions Directors
  • Lead development and prioritization of Network drug strategy initiatives
  • Establish portfolio governance, prioritization frameworks, and performance measures
  • Lead, develop, and mentor Pharmacy Solutions Directors
  • Partner with Network practices to support strategic initiative adoption and optimize drug utilization strategies
  • Serve as executive sponsor for key practice relationships and strategic growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with physician governance groups and enterprise stakeholders to align priorities and drive execution
  • Lead complex, high-visibility cross-functional initiatives
  • Connect clinical, operational, and financial insights to identify opportunities and support decision-making
  • Monitor emerging therapies, industry trends, payer landscapes, and reimbursement changes
  • Represent the organization through professional associations, conferences, advisory boards, and industry forums
  • Deliver a prioritized enterprise drug strategy portfolio with measurable outcomes
  • Improve Network readiness, practice engagement, satisfaction, and performance outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience considered
  • PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree required
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing required
  • Typically requires 13+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 6+ years of leadership and Oncology experience managing and developing teams in complex healthcare environments
  • 13+ years of progressive experience in oncology, specialty pharmacy, healthcare strategy, market access, practice operations, or a related field
  • 6+ years of people leadership experience with demonstrated success building and developing high-performing teams
  • Deep knowledge of oncology therapeutics, community oncology care models, manufacturer pipelines, reimbursement, payer dynamics, and drug economics
  • Experience leading enterprise-level initiatives across matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to connect clinical and financial strategies to measurable business outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and relationship management skills
  • Active participation in industry organizations, advisory boards, conferences, or professional networks preferred
  • MBA, MHA, MS, or other advanced degree preferred
