Job Description
Electrical Engineer supporting US Coast Guard’s Surface Forces Logistics Center with ship design and electrical systems evaluations. Involved in engineering analysis and project reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to the United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center
- Design, develop, and evaluate operation of marine vessels and related equipment
- Support the US Coast Guard reviewing design modifications of electrical systems
- Conduct electrical engineering analysis as related to vessels
- Prepare technical reports and communicate technical information to relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Secret Security clearance
- At least 10 years of experience in marine fields: electric propulsion systems; machinery control systems; power generation and distribution systems; or interior communications systems
- Ability to travel up to 20%
