Job Description
Senior Electrical Program Engineer providing engineering expertise during complex project phases at Amazon. Focused on standardization, project execution, and stakeholder communication to meet Amazon's operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of complex Amazon technical standards and project requirements to inform strategic planning.
- Promote the development of comprehensive engineering strategies, resource plans, and project timelines in alignment with multifaceted project scopes.
- Coordinate and critically review multidisciplinary design efforts to ensure seamless integration and adherence to the highest technical standards.
- Act as the internal senior technical interface for Amazon, establishing trust and guiding strategic conversations across the FORTNA organization.
- Assist the strategic sourcing of materials and components, optimizing resource allocation and scheduling.
- Display superior communication skills, leading by example to drive effective collaboration and cross-disciplinary integration.
Requirements:
- Engineering Bachelor’s degree (or similar engineering program) from an accredited college with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Advanced knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering processes.
- Exceptional leadership and strategic planning abilities.
- Superior communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Broad technical expertise across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Proficient in project scheduling and resource management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Operates with a high degree of autonomy and handles complex issues independently.
- Takes the initiative to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical project management.
