Job Description
Senior Executive Assistant serving as founder’s right hand across Peru and US knitwear manufacturing and clothing businesses. Coordinating inbox, systems, projects, and cross-functional operations.
Responsibilities:
- Own the founder’s inbox and calendar, triaging incoming requests and handling or routing them
- Act as connective tissue across two businesses by understanding ownership, coordinating people, and routing work effectively
- Track requests, commitments, and action items through completion
- Prepare decisions and meetings with distilled information, recommendations, and clearly defined choices
- Build and maintain systems using Notion, SOPs, Google Drive, recurring calendars, and checklists
- Oversee recurring administrative and business-critical areas including compliance deadlines, benefits, trademarks, expenses, subscriptions, travel, and other operational details
- Support cross-functional and special projects by coordinating employees, contractors, and outside experts
- Learn the founder’s working style and businesses deeply enough to anticipate needs and handle issues independently
- Provide continuity and act as a long-term, high-trust right hand to the founder across two growing businesses
Requirements:
- Proper Senior EA experience: Senior EA, Executive Business Partner, Chief of Staff/EA hybrid, or similarly high-ownership executive support experience (not a low-level VA)
- Excellent judgment and ability to distinguish what can be decided independently, delegated, or escalated to the executive
- Confidence to make decisions with available information and keep work moving forward
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and creating paths forward from messy or incomplete requests
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfort managing people laterally and following up with the wider team
- Self-motivated, highly autonomous, and comfortable working independently without frequent check-ins
- Emotional steadiness and resilience; able to receive direct feedback, navigate pressure and interpersonal complexity, and remain calm and solutions-oriented
- Solid working knowledge of platforms, technology, and AI tools
- Some Spanish or interest in learning Spanish is a bonus
- Startup background is a bonus
