Job Description
Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at Stord building AI-powered tools to enhance internal workflows. Collaborating with teams across operations and logistics to drive productivity and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and eliminate friction in internal workflows using AI systems
- Build and ship production tools that integrate with existing systems
- Collaborate with various internal teams (CX, Finance, Ops, Logistics)
- Develop reusable automation modules for future projects
- Create internal AI tools to enhance developer productivity
- Automate reporting and alerting processes
Requirements:
- Proven production experience building AI agents and LLM-powered tools (2+ years)
- Production backend experience in TypeScript / Node.js (3+ years)
- Experience using AI coding tools as core workflow
- Proven experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent
- Comfortable working with non-technical teams
- Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with internal systems
- Ability to instrument systems in production
- Advanced SQL with PostgreSQL skills
- High agency and production discipline
