Job Description
Frontend Engineer in Visual Suite team redefining design experiences and product offerings. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for Web tools development and enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Join the team redefining how the world experiences design
- The Visual Suite encompasses the product vertical teams across Docs, Sheets, Presentations, Whiteboards, and Websites.
- It helps drive our product offerings in this space, making them cohesive and productive tools for our customers.
- The teams in VS are largely Frontend specific, with some BE/MLE resources consolidated into a platform team helping the verticals with their feature work.
Requirements:
- Passion for great UX, storytelling and collaboration.
- Cross-browser knowledge as we are often driving changes that may have implications across many different browsers, devices, and modalities.
- Problem-solving and algorithm skills.
- Having worked as part of a design system.
- Having worked to build and ship impactful product and/or changes.
- Consideration for performance, especially as it relates to a great product experience.
- Our frontend stack consists of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, MobX, etc.. Experience in some of these would be valuable but is not required.
- Firmly grounding in computer science and engineering fundamentals including concurrency, multithreading, data structures, solution design, architecture, and design patterns.
