Job Description
Senior Full Stack Developer improving scalable reseller platforms for a global connectivity provider. Building APIs, distributed cloud systems, automation, and testing with international teams.
Responsibilities:
- Improve and maintain the Reseller platform
- Participate in the product lifecycle from ideation to deployment to maintenance
- Build robust and scalable solutions
- Work closely with Product and Customer Success teams to build features that provide direct value to partners
- Design, write and test code following squad standards
- Design robust and scalable APIs for desktop, mobile, and other clients
- Manage and optimise distributed systems in a cloud environment
- Identify repeatable tasks and write automation scripts
- Write and maintain automated and regression testing scripts
- Write internal and external documentation, including customer-facing documentation and release notes
- Support other business areas requiring backend knowledge
- Support and mentor Junior developers
Requirements:
- ~10+ years of experience working as a Full Stack Backend Developer
- Strong computer science foundations, mostly working in distributed systems
- Extensive experience writing scalable APIs using REST architecture
- Experience writing code in the Golang programming language
- Experience in a modern JavaScript web framework, e.g. Svelte, Vue.js or React
- Experience working in an AWS cloud environment
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Familiar with API and WebApp security standards and authentication methods (API key, JWT, OAuth 2.0, etc)
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Excellent troubleshooter with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Strong communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders and customers
- Comfortable working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment
- Collaborative and supportive, happy to mentor more junior team member
