Job Description
Senior Full-Stack JavaScript Developer modernizing core MERN-based platform and mentoring junior engineers. Collaborating on new features while ensuring legacy codebase maintains functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Refactor and modernize a complex legacy codebase without losing functionality
- Optimize MongoDB queries, indexing, and schema design for speed and reliability
- Replace outdated libraries and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate on new features while stabilizing old ones
- Produce clear documentation and hand over knowledge across the team
- Mentor junior engineers and influence hiring and technical standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript
- Comfortable untangling legacy systems and making smart architectural choices
- Fluent in English
- Excited by technical ownership, continuous improvement, and mentoring peers
