Job Description
Senior Fullstack Developer responsible for TYPO3 project development and implementation in a dynamic team. Engaging in both backend and frontend tasks to shape digital education future.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance TYPO3 projects as a fullstack solution (Extbase/Fluid & frontend components).
- Design custom extensions and integrate external interfaces (APIs, import/export).
- Implement modern, accessible, and responsive user interfaces based on technical specifications and designs.
- Maintain and optimize existing systems, including refactoring, performance tuning, and debugging across the entire stack.
- Take responsibility for deployment processes.
- Ensure code quality through tests (PHPUnit, Cypress), code reviews, and documentation.
- Technically design new features in close collaboration with the team.
Requirements:
- You reside in Germany or Austria and have very good German language skills (at least C1).
- Several years of experience in TYPO3 development as a fullstack developer.
- Strong knowledge of PHP as well as Extbase and Fluid.
- Confident working knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB.
- Familiar with Git-based workflows, ideally GitLab.
- Experience with deployment processes and local development environments.
- Good knowledge of HTML, SCSS/CSS and fundamental JavaScript technologies.
- Experience using Bootstrap to implement responsive frontends.
- Familiar with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit and ideally Cypress.
- Strong understanding of performance, code quality and clean software architecture.
- Team player with initiative and a strong commitment to quality.
